From my earliest years, I felt a deep calling toward humanitarian service—a quiet but persistent urge to stand beside those whose voices often go unheard. That calling grew stronger as I pursued medicine and eventually earned my MBBS degree. During my early professional journey, I worked closely with women in the Gazipur area and witnessed, firsthand, the structural barriers that prevent many from accessing even basic healthcare and dignity.

Those experiences were transformative. While individual efforts can change lives, I soon realized their limitations. True, sustainable change requires collective action, organized commitment, and a platform that can reach beyond boundaries. It was from this realization that SONEKA (Society for Nature, Empowerment, Knowledge and Advancement) was born.
